Service Engineer in an US medical equipment company

POSITION OVERVIEW

In this role the service engineer will be responsible for meeting daily service operation needs of Aurora MRI systems and driving customer satisfaction through service excellence.

JOB / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Aurora MRI products/equipment.
2. Responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the MRI equipment.
3. Conduct preventative maintenance, manage repairs and replacement parts.
4. Drive customer satisfaction through service exce5llence.
5. Communicate with supervisor and keep supervisor informed on customer status.
6. Work cohesively and effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
7. Interface with internal team members as part of a solution based service process.
8. Maintain daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
9. Maintain customer service logs and internal field service documentation
10. Maintain company tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are in good status.
11. Improve customer satisfaction and company profitability by timely resolution of technical product issues.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge / Education

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
• Prefer a BS degree in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant discipline.

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of experience in servicing or supporting medical or related equipment (MRI a plus).
• Strong candidates without prior experience will receive 6~12 months of training in our Hsinchu site.

Skills / Competencies

• Ability to handle multiple simultaneous demands and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
• Must possess customer interaction skills, communication skills and teamwork skills.
• Shall be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment.
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English
